Ozarik is the next Zaro, the leader of the world’s witches, the modern-day Darcy everyone swoons over. Just because Claire shares a Zaro’s unfathomable magic doesn’t mean she shares the responsibility. So, if Ozarik wants to make himself a villain by casting an ultra-dangerous spell to stop death on Earth “for her,” to “protect her,” that sounds like a him-problem. Claire has a show in four hours. Skipping it to save the world might give her manager a heart attack.

Swept in to this Siren's song...
This book was everything I wanted it to be and more. The author takes great care in their writing to pull you into the waves of the story, and once you've begun, you cannot resist it's siren's call. Pirates, adventure, secrets, hidden identities, unexpected romance... There's so much going on in such a great way. Laura Horowitz does a fantastic job of bringing all of these characters to life. I think as readers we tend to like dual or duet narration styles best because it breathes new life into characters, but with Laura, you don't miss having another narrator. She gives you everything you want and need from this story to make it feel real. You laugh. You get emotional. You experience all the emotions that the characters are feeling and then some, and it leaves you wanting so much more. A Kiss of the Siren's Song is a FANTASTIC beginning to a series I know I am going to absolutely love!

Sapphic pirate and a witch
I really liked this story. It flowed really well and kept my interest. Had some spice to it and kept the reader rooting for the good guys. I felt the MC was more a witch than a Siren. There was action and the write amount of angst. I was worried that the ending wouldn’t be a HEA but it was!

Sapphic Pirates
I really enjoyed Sabine and Elora’s story! Dual POVs are the best, you get to know their inner thoughts and how they align or differ from the other character.
Sabine had her own journey and finds strength in herself with Elora’s support. Elora discovers there is more to life than vengeance. The twist and connection between the two caught me off guard! I also loved all the representation in this story, the main characters and side characters. I look forward to the next book!
