Just Okay
This one was just okay for me. I didn't like that we were just told that Adrian and Jane were in love, instead of seeing them fall in love. I guess they were always in love but it just left the romantic part of the book lacking for me. The mystery of the culprit was too easy. I knew from the first interaction the killer had with Jane after the murder who it was.

Intrigue and Romance
The seamless integration of the previous book that introduced Jane’s character and this one . That leads me to wonder if there will be be another in this series with the introduction of a new character Will Gilford, just a thought. I enjoy the unveiling of the mystery of why Jane’s father died. And of course the interwoven romance between her and Lord Adrian. Mary Jane Wells’ narration was and is always excellent.

Great continuation!
Love this series, Manda Collins writes wonderful entertaining continuation of this series. Mary Jane Wells is always delightful to listen to she is my favorite narrator!

Another great story
Love the narration and the story. This is a great addition to the series and I finished it too quickly. The story never lags and holds my attention. I love the mix of mystery and romance.
