ANOTHER ADDICTIVE AWESOME PNR ADVENTURE

As a PNR fan I'm loving The Shields series along with the imaginative characters and situations that DG so vividly creates which are so entertaining that it makes listening to one of her books such an enjoyable experience and they'll have you routing for the good guys all the way.

Cole is a gorgeous (naturally), charismatic immortal member of The Shields and he's been raised and trained by the Fae in weapons warfare but he's a fully paid-up member of the 'love em and leave em club'..... that is until he sets eyes on Shannon who's been transported through time unwittingly to help in the forthcoming battle against the latest threat and, of course, to meet Cole.

Good adventure, action-packed, likeable characters with a tender, sweet romance and naturally their quest brings them one step closer to defeating The Evil one. However, as this book is not quite 6 hrs long I felt it suffered slightly because of this and, as a result, I didn't enjoy this one to the same extent as the previous books (but hey that's just me being greedy I guess). You may say outch at the price for a 5hr 43 mins listen but DG did pack a lot into it.

Worth a credit? The whole series so far has held me captivated so that's a YES and I've already Pre-Ordered books 4 & 5 so I guess that makes me one of DG's committed fans too.

Love this series

This is a very good series and it keeps my attention. I have really like this series. I would recommend.

Another Marvelous Story!

Grant doesn't disappoint in the third installment of The Shields Series. It's Cole's turn this time and he quickly finds himself attracted to Shannon. Shannon is from modern times but has been sent back in time to 1244 feudal England. Shannon has very little trouble adjusting to the reality of Cole's immortality, the Fae, & The Evil that is trying to destroy the Fae & earthly realms.
I found this book just as entertaining as the previous two. The narration is excellent as it was previously. This is for adults only. Worth the credit or cash.

Another great story

Narrator Anthony Ferguson does another great job in this book 2 of the Shield Series.

I was hoping this series would last be awhile but hey are so good, I listen every chance I can!

I love these characters are so passionate and heroic the narrator brings these characters to life . I love it

Another Good PNR!

To be honest this story is very short, I felt it could have been fleshed out a bit more. However, the story was great, the H/h were likeable and not dumb. Cole is an immortal, who was a foundling by the Fae, raised and trained by them, he became a member of the Shields. The job of the Shields is to fight The Evil. Shannon is a modern woman who has been bought to this particular time and place for a purpose. Naturally Cole is drawn to her, something he can't explain won't let him leave her.
Worth a credit? Yes!! Really a good story. The narrator was pretty good. Women voices needed a like work.
