Let me start with a little story about John and me. It was a Saturday afternoon, and we had the house to ourselves. No errands, no meetings, no distractions—just the two of us. We decided to make dinner together, but as we got started, John suggested something a little unconventional. "What if we cooked in the nude?" he said with a grin. I laughed, half-expecting him to be joking, but when he started peeling off his shirt, I thought, Why not?

What followed was one of the most joyful and liberating evenings we’ve ever shared. Chopping vegetables, stirring sauces, and sharing laughs—all without a single stitch of clothing—felt like stepping into a new kind of freedom. It wasn’t just about being naked; it was about being completely open with each other, body and soul. That evening, I realized how much closer we felt—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.

You see, as Christians, we often forget that our bodies are not just tools for living but also masterpieces of God’s creation. The Bible tells us in Genesis 2:25 that Adam and Eve were “naked and unashamed,” living in complete harmony with God and with each other. While sin introduced shame, Jesus offers us the chance to reclaim that original design, especially in the safe, sacred context of marriage.

When we think about nudity, our culture often focuses on the wrong things. But for John and me, sharing moments of nudity isn’t about anything sensational—it’s about authenticity, vulnerability, and embracing the gift of intimacy as God intended it. It’s about peeling back not just the layers of clothing but the walls we sometimes build between ourselves.

In this book, I want to invite you into this part of our lives—not to convince you or pressure you but to share the joy, laughter, and deeper connection we’ve found. I’ll share some of our favorite nude activities as a couple (yes, cooking is one of them!), as well as how this lifestyle has deepened our relationship with each other and with God.
