Good story. Very fast ending.
I wish there was more substance for such a great writer and universe. The story here and over the three books in total is good, but didn't contain the depth that was possible to more fully develop the characters and plot lines. The ending also came tearing through in what felt like the last ten minutes and was a bit of a let down the story did not continue with an epilogue. The potential lead in to another series did pique my interest.

Vasily Mahanenko is an amazing author, truly a master of his craft
What a great story this was, I regret it has come to an end, I may have to start it all over just satisfy my need to live in this universe a little longer. I must give acknowledgment to Boris Smirnov for the mastery of his translation, few people know how difficult translating a body of work like this really is. The nuance of Language makes this very difficult to pull off. The fact I could not in any way tell these were written in another language is a testimony to his excellence.

A lot of twists
This is the final book in the series, and it has a ton going on. Betrayal is everywhere; our MC doesn't know who to trust as he's led into trap after trap just trying to find his check for a billion.
I love this series and honestly hope for a spin-off or a continuation as its ending has been left open for it to have one.
