The story was fine. It felt a little long and drawn out. There isn't much excitement but it drew me in enough that I had to stay until the end to see if I was right. I was right. Therefore, I wish there was a better twist. I'd read from the author again though.

Dumb and Dumber
I’m hard pressed to believe that there are this many characters in literature who are as dense as the characters in this book. Surely someone with training in psychiatry would have more sense of humans than the main character in this book. Best case against therapy I’ve ever read.

Started out as a gripping story
Although it started out as a book right up my alley, I ended up losing interest after a while. I slogged through it listening mostly passively and it wasn’t terrible but I wouldn’t listen again.

Drawn in from day 1 all the way through the book.
I couldn’t stop thinking of the book whenever I’d have to put it down to tend to my kids. It had my attention through the whole 3 months that it took me to read(4 little kids makes it hard to have quiet time to myself;)) but damn, the suspense. The love between the main character and her fiancé, the steamy scenes were just enough to get your heart racing, then the killing scenes made you mr heart race in a dreadful, way. It was an amazing book with a great end. I’ve recommended it to all of my crime/suspense, friends. READ IT!!! and remember…sometimes the ones you think are your biggest supporters, are actually the opposite.

you will never see it coming
this book was absolutely one of my favs. very suspenseful and you would never guess the ending. one of the best plot twist by any means!

Great story!
First. The narrator did an outstanding job! Her ability to change characters was believable and executed well. Great story line. Plot twist to the end. I never would have guessed the outcome. I recommend this book!

The author didn't research her subjects enough
The story was compelling and the narrator's performance was impeccable. But the author's portrayal of the psychiatrist was ridiculously flawed. No decent psychiatrist would be so egregious in violating her patients' confidence and in blurring the doctor/patient relationship boundaries, as the lead character in this story did.

Intertwined
I enjoyed the twists and turns of the intertwined plots and characters. Surprises throughout the book that kept me intrigued.
