Laaangsam!
Dieses Hörbuch hat mit Abstand den langsamsten Spannungsbogen, den ich je erlebt habe! Einzelne Szenen werden häufig so detailreich beschrieben, dass alles wie in Zeitlupe wirkt. Bei manchen Beschreibungen wird so viel Zeit aufgewendet, dass man weggehen könnte, sich ruhig einen Kaffee machen kann und ihn trinken ohne zu pausieren, da beim Zurückkommen immernoch die gleiche, oft sehr belanglose, Szene ausgeführt wird.
Nach etwa 10 Stunden der Beschreibung der Charaktere und derer gesamten Lebensgeschichte beginnt die durchaus anregende Story ganz langsam an Fahrt zu gewinnen, wird allerdings immer wieder durch endlose Details und unzählige Wiederholungen bereits genannter Fakten und Beschreibungen ausgebremst. Das ganze ließe sich meiner Meinung nach in einem Drittel der Zeit, also ziemlich genau einem einzigen Buch wiedergeben.
Fazit: Wenn man gewillt ist, sehr viel Zeit in eine unglaublich langsam erzählte Geschichte zu investieren, dann wird man mit einer durchaus guten Geschichte belohnt. Den meisten Menschen wird dieses Hörbuch aber durch seine extreme Langsamkeit zu langweilig werden.

Disappointed
I was looking forward to listening to 1Q84 And when I downloaded and listened to hear it was in German, I believe. I'm not certain but definitely not English! I'm certain the performance and story would have been most interesting had I been able to understand.
Is it possible to receive an English version without using more credits?
