We shipped two British Jeeps 3,500 miles back to the USA, before embarking on a 5,500-mile coast-to-coast road-trip from New York to LA. Along the way, we tackled the world-famous trails of Moab, took a tour of the nearby national parks, and sampled a few of Colorado's most scenic byways. Over the course of three weeks we were almost arrested, swallowed by a tornado, and nearly mugged in Las Vegas. The Jeeps broke down, caught fire, and were nearly confiscated. But we also met some incredible people, all of whom contributed in their own way to this story.

Wonderful book, wonderful narrator
This is an extremely well written book narrated by a talented voice artist. The stories are timeless and well written by the author, then brought to life by Bruce Peters' narration. Highly recommend it!

Fun and enjoyable!
Engaging stories and excellent narration make for a great listen! This was a great way to learn about different locations and Lonnie's unique encounters. Strong narration allows the stories to have a voice.

Thoughtful book with engaging narration
Title says it all. The stories are bite size, and generally contain some nice bits of wisdom and thoughtfulness. The narration is engaging and draws me right in.
