1982年、大阪芸術大学映像計画学科卒業。映画の助監督や黒澤明監督の『乱』のメイキングの演出などに携わる。
1990年、扶桑社から木原浩勝との共著で『新耳袋～あなたの隣の怖い話』で作家デビュー。『新耳袋』はそれまでただ怪談で括られていたものから、実話だけにこだわり百物語を一冊の著書で実現化させた。
『新耳袋』は後にメディアファクトリーより全十夜のシリーズとなり復刊。『怪談新耳袋』として映画やドラマ、コミックとして展開。
怪談は語ることが重要と、ライブや怪談会、放送などでも積極的に怪談語りを行っている。その他の著書に『捜聖記』『聖徳太子・四天王寺の暗号』『聖徳太子の「未来記」とイルミナティ」など多数。©2024 PanRolling
