Historia
The Feeler by James W. Goll delivers a remarkable biblical perspective on our emotions and how they help us to discern and act on God’s voice. We experience the love, joy, and presence of God with our feelings. Our emotions have an impact on our bodies, our level of holiness, our relationships, and our decisions. The Bible tells us we need to have our “senses trained to discern good and evil” (Hebrews 5:14 NASB). What are we training? Both our natural senses and our spiritual senses.

Great Content, Poor Narration
Revisado: 10-26-23
I love the content. But I'm going to have to go buy a paper copy. The narrator exaggerates random words and pauses multiple times within a sentence. I tried and tried to listen to it, but I couldn't follow what was being taught. The content and teaching are great, though. If you can't handle the audio, buy the paper book, its worth it.

I thought I knew how to hear from God...
Revisado: 09-28-23
I thought I knew how to hear from God. I have been through ministry schools, learned all the right things, or so I thought. Come to find out, talking to God is simpler than I could have ever imagined. I had accepted and believed too many lies that made it hard. Thanks for the revelation shared on this book! Not only is it genuinely life changing, but it's an enjoyable listen full of great stories and relatable experiences. 10 stars if there was such a thing!

Historia
On a fateful summer morning in 1986, two 11-year-old girls meet for the first time. By the end of the day, they will both be charged with murder. Twenty-five years later, journalist Kirsty Lindsay is reporting on a series of sickening attacks on young female tourists in a seaside vacation town when her investigation leads her to interview carnival cleaner Amber Gordon. For Kirsty and Amber, it's the first time they've seen each other since that dark day so many years ago.

Captivating read full of twist and emotional pulls
Revisado: 02-18-19
Captivating story that kept me interested completely through. The writer did an amazing job of blurring the lines between good and evil leaving you unsure how to feel about many of the characters involved. The narrator did a good job of changing tones for each character which made the listening more enjoyable and easy to follow.

Oddly creepy, yet so believable...
Revisado: 01-28-19
A quick read that draws you in from the very start. Personally I think James Patterson's books read more like a movie would play out, so that's a dock in a star to me, but a plus for my Husband. That aside, the story is a good one. The Store is a creepy fiction that could be so close to true.

Historia
"True belonging doesn't require us to change who we are. It requires us to be who we are." Social scientist Brené Brown, PhD, LMSW, has sparked a global conversation about the experiences that bring meaning to our lives - experiences of courage, vulnerability, love, belonging, shame, and empathy. In Braving the Wilderness, Brown redefines what it means to truly belong in an age of increased polarization.

Honest & Thought Provoking
Revisado: 06-08-18
Brene's book was a great listen. Her raw honesty made it relatable. Her topics, if not always what I was after, were always thought provoking.
