Boring and obvious

The premise sounds promising but that is the only good thing to be said about this book. Had hopes of an interesting story but it was like a high school writing assignment.
Can't imagine how this got published. The author must have self published. The ending is like the boy who cried wolf. It's actually sad that someone wrote this thinking it was a clever ending. Seriously, don't waste your time. There are a lot of good writers to choose from but this is not one of them.

I found myself connected to this incredible group of women. The raw reality of the true experiences of existence during their young lives was unimaginable. Their bond of friendship was enviable especially during their extreme circumstances.
Much to ponder about the sacrifices for humanity.
You will want to share this book, especially with younger generations, to ensure this history is never forgotten.

I was hesitant to get this book . It didn't seem like an adult book. All of the positive reviews convinced me to try it . I was so wrong! Once you get into it you understand why it has so many glowing reviews. Wonderful story! like nothing you've read before. The narrator was wonderful. I will come back to read/listen to this again and again. Buy it!!!

Had to read through the night to finish the book. There was no way I'd get to sleep wanting to know what happened next.

Be prepared to fall in love! This is so much more than five stars! The story itself is beyond any words I have to convey how profoundly it will touch your heart.
The narration is the best I have ever heard!! Unbelievable that one person could so skillfully perform so many characters that you forget this is one person reading all the parts.
I just finished listening to and reading this book and am going to start again now that I can more fully appreciate it.
