Historia
Fanatical Prospecting gives salespeople, sales leaders, entrepreneurs, and executives a practical, eye-opening guide that clearly explains the why and how behind the most important activity in sales and business development: prospecting. The brutal fact is that the number one reason for failure in sales is an empty pipe, and the root cause of an empty pipeline is the failure to consistently prospect.

Makes me want to change careers
Revisado: 06-18-23
I’ve done prospecting but not in two decades. As I find myself at a transition point and consider what the direction of my next career journey might be, this book makes me want to find a product or service I believe in and pick some of the low hanging fruit that can be had only through prospecting.

Historia
Can’t Hurt Me, David Goggins’ smash hit memoir, demonstrated how much untapped ability we all have but was merely an introduction to the power of the mind. In Never Finished, Goggins takes you inside his Mental Lab, where he developed the philosophy, psychology, and strategies that enabled him to learn that what he thought was his limit was only his beginning and that the quest for greatness is unending.

Powerful and inspiring
Revisado: 10-25-22
Found myself sitting in the car several times after I’d parked wishing I’d taken the long way home so I could hear more of this masterfully written audiobook.
Feeling much more hopeful about my circumstances that have seemed overwhelming of late, after hearing Joe’s story.
Must-read/listen.

Historia
We already rely on science to tell us what to eat, when to exercise, and how long to sleep. Why not use science to help us improve our relationships? In this revolutionary book, psychiatrist and neuroscientist Dr. Amir Levine and Rachel Heller scientifically explain why some people seem to navigate relationships effortlessly, while others struggle.

Skip to the point: break up with your avoidant partner
Revisado: 08-06-20
My insecure partner of 25 years referred me to this book. Didn’t appreciate, as an avoidant, being the villain of every story/case study and being told to modify my/our behavior as the key to a mediocre but lasting relationship. Did not hear much of anything in this book besides pairing with a secure partner that would help in the long run or at a core level. Dan Brown’s approach via the attachment project promises real change and healing. Will see if that makes a difference. This book did not.

Historia
Jason logs into Awaken Online fed-up with reality. He's in desperate need of an escape, and this game is his ticket to finally feeling the type of power and freedom that are so sorely lacking in his real life. Awaken Online is a brand new virtual reality game that just hit the market, promising an unprecedented level of immersion. Yet Jason quickly finds himself pushed down a path he didn't expect. In this game, he isn't the hero. There are no damsels to save. There are no bad guys to vanquish.

Audiobook Sucks
Revisado: 06-21-18
Before trying this audiobook I'd read this and two subsequent awaken online books on my kindle and loved them. Downloaded the audiobook to share with my two sons on a road trip where we’d just finished Ready Player One. The reader ruined the book and we couldn’t get through two chapters of the audiobook. Along with being awkward and sounding far too old to tell the journey of Jason with any amount of credibility, the inflection he used for the girls came across as condescending and belittling.
Extremely disappointed as my boys won’t touch a kindle and this book is only available in electronic form.
