Historia
Our ability to prevent and reverse these conditions—and feel incredible today—is under our control and simpler than we think. The key is our metabolic function—the most important and least understood factor in our overall health. As Dr. Casey Means explains in this book, nearly every health problem we face can be explained by how well the cells in our body create and use energy. To live free from frustrating symptoms and life-threatening disease, we need our cells to be optimally powered so that they can create “good energy,” the essential fuel that impacts every aspect of our wellbeing.

Enjoyed it will definitely help those, but do not know how to communicate
Revisado: 09-12-24
My disadvantage of listening to this book because I’ve heard everything that John Maxwell ever put out it’s more the same however he has seem to be less selfish and less egotistical. I have a hard time believing he wants to be my friend though. I’ve met John several times he has always been ambitious cries on queue when he talks, so it makes me very skeptical. It’s not for me to judge John’s motives so I won’t know what to believe not believe but that said no information on leadership and John Maxwell.

Historia
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

Good story couldn’t wait for it to end
Revisado: 07-22-24
This was an interesting story however way too much cussing and swearing in this no author needs to let the reader hear the horrible words in this book threatened to stop it 1 million times but I’d like to finish what I start. I’m glad that it is over. I do not recommend this book because of the wording and this will put out some peoples minds about now Vance being the vice president candidate to run United States. I am concerned about is his anger issues growing up that still followed him even to this day if he becomes president, we are in trouble however I am a conservative and the vote for Trump and thought that Vance might’ve been a great running me after listening to this book. I am hoping and praying that he has learned how to be a Christian man and not a hillbilly in the end.

Historia
Man’s Search for Meaning is the chilling yet inspirational story of Viktor Frankl’s struggle to hold on to hope during the unspeakable horrors of his years as a prisoner in Nazi concentration camps. Between 1942 and 1945 Frankl labored in four different camps, including Auschwitz, while his parents, brother, and pregnant wife perished. Based on his own experience and the experiences of those he treated in his practice, Frankl argues that we cannot avoid suffering, but we can choose how to cope with it, find meaning in it, and move forward with renewed purpose.

This book has great meaning pardon the pun . The only issue with it is its stays in the negative way to long and if you are prone to depression or oppression you may want to skip to the last part of the book I am glad I listen to it and glad it’s over at the same time

Revisado: 08-06-23
The only drawback to this work is the reader or the narrator there are times he preached way too hard, and too much rather than just read about Tim Keller’s book could’ve been a third of it size other than that, knowing how Tim Keller got where he ended up Was interesting

What does God want? Sounds like a simple question, but if you give it a bit of thought, it’s really not. For starters, you have to know who’s asking the question. People will ask it for a lot of different reasons. Best-selling author Dr. Michael S. Heiser shows listeners that the answer is pretty simple. That might surprise you. There’s actually a long, remarkable story behind the answer - one that isn’t well known by most people interested in the question.

Forgiving anyone in a meaningful way is one of the hardest things a person has to do. If you do not, resentment and vengeance begin to consume you. It is nearly impossible to move past transgression without forgiveness, but few people have the resources and the tools to forgive others fully and move on with their lives.
