Historia
Letting Go describes a simple and effective means by which to let go of the obstacles to enlightenment and become free of negativity. During the many decades of the author's clinical psychiatric practice, the primary aim was to seek the most effective ways to relieve human suffering in all of its many forms. The inner mechanism of surrender was found to be of great practical benefit and is described in this book.

Best Insight on Health
Revisado: 12-03-24
Very thorough and valuable insights on managing health throughout our lives and preparing ourselves for healthy old age. Very enjoyable to listen to the author reading the book! He makes the complexity of understanding our bodies much easier to digest and empowers us to make decisions based on our own bodies, not on blanket health claims for everyone. Loved every minute of it!

Historia
The Courage to Be Disliked, already an enormous best seller in Asia with more than 3.5 million copies sold, demonstrates how to unlock the power within yourself to be the person you truly want to be. Using the theories of Alfred Adler, one of the three giants of 20th-century psychology, The Courage to Be Disliked follows an illuminating conversation between a philosopher and a young man. The philosopher explains to his pupil how each of us is able to determine our own life, free from the shackles of past experiences, doubts, and the expectations of others.

Mind bending but empty at the end.
Revisado: 03-07-24
Alderian psychology is counter to many traditional ways of approaching life, a bit mind bending at times, questionable in many others, but well worth the listen, however, at the very end, he says life has no meaning. This caused me to disregard everything I heard. I will not follow any philosophy that proclaims that.

Pretentious, useless
Revisado: 03-01-24
Don’t listen if you want practical guidance on conversation. It’s a pretentiously presented deep dive into lofty speech patterns using archaic examples of literary writing or historic speeches. This would be recommended reading for a literary or persuasive speech class in college, but the title chosen doesn’t represent the content. I couldn’t stand to listen more than 30 minutes.
