Historia
Four decades after it first shook the nation, then the world, William Peter Blatty's thrilling masterwork of faith and demonic possession returns in an even more powerful form. Raw and profane, shocking and blood-chilling, it remains a modern parable of good and evil and perhaps the most terrifying novel ever written.

Somehow better than the movie...
Revisado: 03-25-23
The Exorcist will go down as one of the best horror movies of all time. It has been a personal favorite of mine since I was 12 years old. The book holds up to the film and surpasses it. Mr. Blatty does an excellent job at narrating. If you enjoy the movie you will love the book. It delves more into the lore, mythos, and the characters. A+

Now this is Star Wars!
Revisado: 03-25-23
This is what the sequel trilogy should have been. The story is well thought out, and well presented with great narration and awesome sound effects. Thrawn makes for a cunning and interesting villian, while we have a very different evil jedi in the mix. Listening to our heroes and their perspective after the DeathStar is destroyed is quite interesting. This trilogy gives us a real Luke Skywalker.

Gives great context to Palpatine's backstory
Revisado: 03-25-23
Great story with a ton of backstory on Palpatine. Love the narration and sound effects, really feels like you're in the Star Wars universe. It also gives great context on the early days of Palpatine without having to rewrite the lore of Star Wars.

An amazing story set in the world of star wars!
Revisado: 03-25-23
Although this story doesn't contain any major Star Wars characters that we know and love after one hour you'll start to be enraptured by the world building and characters. I would put this up against the Thrawn series anyday. Just a well written story that doesn't screw with the lore of Star Wars.

If you are a fan of any John Douglas books or Mindhunter on Netflix you'll love this book. The audio presentation is well done, the stories of Ressler's profession are beyond interesting, and it is well paced.

Great intro for horror fans!
Revisado: 03-25-23
This book offers a fun and factual look at what inspired certain horror movies throughout the 20th century. Not exactly mind-blowing but it's presented well and is loaded with info. Some movies mentioned are Jaws, Psycho, and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre so if you're a fan of those you'll be in for a good read.

Historia
In addition to being among the most celebrated of contemporary filmmakers, Quentin Tarantino is possibly the most joyously infectious movie lover alive. For years he has touted in interviews his eventual turn to writing books about films. Now, with Cinema Speculation, the time has come, and the results are everything his passionate fans—and all movie lovers—could have hoped for. Organized around key American films from the 1970s, all of which he first saw as a young moviegoer at the time, this book is as intellectually rigorous and insightful as it is rollicking and entertaining.

Love the no B.S. approach by Quentin
Revisado: 03-25-23
Half of this book is about older films and actors, and the other half is random tidbits about Quentin's childhood and introduction to film. Overall, an interesting listen and both narrators do a great job.

Historia
A down-to-earth global pop star. A deeply spiritual, cerebral powerhouse. A famously outspoken introvert. For her millions of fans, and the few unacquainted, defining rock luminary Alanis Morissette is an exercise in dichotomies and nuance. And though her most formidable traits are seemingly at odds with one another, they are, oddly enough, completely emblematic of all of us: complex, conflicting, and, most importantly, ever evolving. With her striking command of language and profound emotional fluency, the 46-year-old covers an enormous amount of personal ground with listeners.
