Historia
"The Bible is alive," declared Martin Luther, "it speaks to me; it has feet, it runs after me; it has hands, it lays hold of me." The Protestant Reformation's seminal leader possessed a gift for evocative speech, and he was as articulate and outspoken in private as he was in public. Fortunately for posterity, some of Luther's loyal followers took note of his informal speeches.

Inside the mature mind of Luther
Revisado: 12-29-17
Probably wouldn’t be a good read for those with little Christian understanding and fairly good knowledge of bible. But one looking for a well aged bottle will find this satisfying. I listened twice.

Historia
In Counterfeit Gods, Keller applies his trademark approach to show us how a proper understanding of the Bible reveals the unvarnished truth about societal ideals and our own hearts. This powerful message will cement Keller's reputation as a critical thinker and pastor, and comes at a crucial time - for both the faithful and the skeptical.

Religious sophisticated?
Revisado: 08-10-16
No matter. Don't know God at all? Great! This is the very rare book that can expose God in a way that this is a fine introduction. Also provides another serious angle from which to evaluate your own Christianity if honest. I loved this book.

Historia
A masterpiece of satire, this classic has entertained and enlightened readers the world over with its sly and ironic portrayal of human life from the vantage point of Screwtape, a highly placed assistant to "Our Father Below". At once wildly comic, deadly serious, and strikingly original, C. S. Lewis gives us the correspondence of the worldly-wise old devil to his nephew Wormwood, a novice demon in charge of securing the damnation of an ordinary young man. The Screwtape Letters is the most engaging and humorous account of temptation - and triumph over it - ever written.
