MC is the not strong. She’s dumber than brick

Sooo bad. Not a strong lead at all. Very misleading reviews. MC is wishy washy and complain about EVERYTHING. The love triangle is filled with emotional angst that’s horrible and the MC has NO COMMON SENSE.

I downloaded this after much trepidation. Still in my 20s I thought this would be unrelatable and just overdone.
I was SO wrong. It was funny, the lead is strong and independent and smart, everything I love about a main character. The side characters are all lovable from the get go and there is action with a great plot/story line.
I’m so glad I took a chance. This is joining my fantasy favorites collection alongside Anne Bishop, Sarah J Maas, and Lindsay Buroker books.

I’ve read everything from Throne of Glass to Jacky Leon to Emperor’s Edge. Read this if you’ve loved those. A strong female lead. Adventure, mystery, suspense, action, some romance…all the right spices for the perfect mix. Buy it. You won’t regret it.
