Easily the best book I've read in years
Revisado: 03-16-22
This book is a work of art. Utter perfection. I wish I could read/hear it again for the first time - you know, like the first time you ever hear the song that will become your lifelong favorite. The first few lines of that velvety rich narration of Verity's autobiography will stay with me forever. If you're on the fence, climb over it and join us here on the dark side. It's that good.

So satisfying
Revisado: 02-11-21
This was a perfect quick listen for a chilly, rainsoaked February day. Margot Hunt's writing is sharp and the pacing of the story leaves no room for criticism.
Taylor Schilling's voice is smooth, her enunciation crisp, and her delivery is subtle and understated. Ms. Schilling has just catapulted to the top of my favorite audible narrator's list. And Margot Hunt is an author by whom I will definitely read more.
