Missed the mark when it comes to being dark romanc

The story is good and I like the happy ending. However it was all a bit too nicey for what was advertised as a dark story. I wanted a bit more edge to the brothers - and a lot more angst.

Fascinating but too much science weighs this down.

I felt as though a lot of the explanations about the medical science underpinning dash went over my head. Also you don’t need to know why dash works to follow it IMHO.
