Historia
When The Sandman, also known as Lord Morpheus - the immortal king of dreams, stories and the imagination - is pulled from his realm and imprisoned on Earth by a nefarious cult, he languishes for decades before finally escaping. Once free, he must retrieve the three “tools” that will restore his power and help him to rebuild his dominion, which has deteriorated in his absence.

simple dialogue
Revisado: 11-28-22
Sound effects and voices were fantastic. Production also on point.
From what I understand, this is derived from a comic. The problem is, it reads like a comic. What you'd expect from a graphic novel. The dialogue is so predictable and poorly written, it's worse than a DC movie.
The story is okay, but I can deal with the super hero esque suspension of belief required to get into this content. I thoroughly enjoyed marvel movies.
I just couldn't get past the klunkiness of the writing, stopped an hour in. I wanted to like it.

Historia
Each day we deal with the challenges of ordinary life: a series of mundane experiences that could be summarized by the title of this book, Work, Sex, Money. We all hope that these aspects of our life will be a source of fulfillment and pleasure, and they often are. Yet they are also always sources of problems for which we seek practical advice and solutions.

Not a direct work of Trungpas

this is my 5th book, not a direct text of trungpa. I recommended "cutting through spiritual materialism" or "shambala..."

Historia
Most books about the history of humanity pursue either a historical or a biological approach, but Dr. Yuval Noah Harari breaks the mold with this highly original book. From examining the role evolving humans have played in the global ecosystem to charting the rise of empires, Sapiens integrates history and science to reconsider accepted narratives, connect past developments with contemporary concerns, and examine specific events within the context of larger ideas.
