Historia
Daniel Faust is back from hell and out for blood. He has a new face and a deadly mission: to find the tiger-queen Naavarasi and his own traitorous brother, and put them both six feet underground. But when Naavarasi’s shape-shifting minions abduct one of Daniel’s own, it’s time for a desperate rescue. With his demonic lover Caitlin and his precocious apprentice Melanie, he follows a thread of nonexistent airlines, ghostly packages, and urban legends all the way to Springfield, a small town with big secrets.

slow start, not slow ending
Revisado: 05-08-21
this starts slow, so slow I almost gave up on it. And ends in such a way I immediately got book 2 since I was so wrapped up in the story. Definitely worth the chance.... just very slow start.

Historia
Gabriel Delling might call himself a professional con artist, but when walking superstitions start trying to bite his face off, his charm is shockingly unhelpful. It turns out living nightmares almost never appreciate a good joke. Together with a succubus who insists on constantly saving his life, Gabe desperately tries to survive a new reality that suddenly features demons, legends, and a giant locust named Dale - all of whom pretty much hate his guts. And when an ancient horror comes hunting for a spirit locked in his head, Gabe finds himself faced with the excruciating choice between death...or becoming some kind of freaking hero.

honestly surprised
Revisado: 08-06-18
I honestly never expected to finished this book. Figured I listen to a few chapters then return it and move on (the written summary has the "this could be awesome... or completely flop vibe), but I kept listening. Next thing I know I'm mid way through the book and talking out loud to our hero as he stumbles though this world. For major suspense this isn't your book, for being completely curious and not knowing what's going to happen next this is totally your book. Cant wait for the next one.

Historia
Hugh d'Ambray, Preceptor of the Iron Dogs, Warlord of the Builder of Towers, served only one man. Now his immortal, nearly omnipotent master has cast him aside. Hugh is a shadow of the warrior he was, but when he learns that the Iron Dogs, soldiers who would follow him anywhere, are being hunted down and murdered, he must make a choice: to fade away or to be the leader he was born to be. Hugh knows he must carve a new place for himself and his people, but they have no money, no shelter, and no food, and the necromancers are coming. Fast.

great story
Revisado: 07-28-18
the story was great and the reader was able to just lull me into the world... untill the pack showed up. the pronunciation of the names and accents change so much for the main Kate books it was jarring, and I had to stop at times
