INSIPID, JUVENILE and RIDICULOUS!!
Revisado: 12-09-15
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Not having been written at ALL!! What a disappointment from a woman with so much visibility and impact on so many people. The chapter and bits I tried to listen to were like reading a middle school Facebook post!
What do you think your next listen will be?
Code Name Verity.
Would you be willing to try another one of Ellen Degeneres’s performances?
NO and another problem is now I will be reluctant to purchase any other non-fiction books by people who are well known - because this book is a complete waste of paper and publication time.
What character would you cut from The Funny Thing Is...?
The author.
Any additional comments?
Take it off your selections! Spare future readers the pain of this terrible book!!

WAY TOO VULGAR FOR ME!
Revisado: 07-12-14
What would have made Here to Stay better?
Leave out the artificial boobs, swear words and sex and it is still a flimsy story - I never got past the third chapter and hope I can return it!
What could Catherine Anderson have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
See above
How could the performance have been better?
The narrator is fine - the content is terrible.
What character would you cut from Here to Stay?
I would cut the entire story!

Light, easy romance.
Revisado: 02-14-12
What made the experience of listening to Dear Lady the most enjoyable?
Historical setting with a somewhat different twist. Excellent narrator!!
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The untamed, undeveloped west.
The strictly romance format - it could have used more depth of character/history.
What does Pam Ward bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The change of voices for each character. Her interpretation of the characters was excellent and her cadence in reading is also excellent.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No.
