Historia
Like an avenging, purple-haired Jedi bringing balance to the mansplained universe, Bee Königswasser lives by a simple code: what would Marie Curie do? If NASA offered her the lead on a neuroengineering project—a literal dream come true after years scraping by on the crumbs of academia—Marie would accept without hesitation. Duh. But the mother of modern physics never had to co-lead with Levi Ward.

Reparativ and predictable plot
Revisado: 09-23-22
It's just as it's predecessor, just in an other setting. No struggling with finishing though. The smutt is not for me, jumped over it all. Great narration, made it real and gave justice for the characters.

Historia
Everything Poppy has ever believed in is a lie, including the man she was falling in love with. Thrust among those who see her as a symbol of a monstrous kingdom, she barely knows who she is without the veil of the Maiden. But what she does know is that nothing is as dangerous to her as him. The Dark One. The Prince of Atlantia. He wants her to fight him, and that’s one order she’s more than happy to obey. He may have taken her, but he will never have her.

I've heard this before
Revisado: 12-10-20
Its great I loved it but I heard similarities to other fantasy, like Maas' books. I struggle with some parts to want to continue, twice. There is a little too much sex for my liking and got so annoyed with Poppy so much so I almost dropped the book.
Absolutely will continue the series tho.

Historia
Beneath the mountain, the king's reign of tyranny is absolute; the one troll with the capacity to challenge him is imprisoned for treason. Cecile has escaped the darkness of Trollus, but she learns all too quickly that she is not beyond the reach of the king's power. Or his manipulation. Recovered from her injuries, she now lives with her mother in Trianon and graces the opera stage every night. By day she searches for the witch who has eluded the trolls for 500 years.

Plot twist
Revisado: 09-27-16
The only thing I have to complain about this book is when you realize the plot twist before the characters and it literally makes me go mad since its in front of their face the whole time. I like being able to follow along the the characters as they discover it or make my own assumptions, not being a head half way through the book. That just makes it feel like the book is being dragged.
