Historia
When it comes to action and adventure, every hero needs a good sidekick. Holmes has Watson, Batman has Robin, and Daniel has . . . Orrin. More like brothers than friends, they always have each other's backs. And as Daniel is the big, strong, handsome type, Orrin is more than happy to remain in his shadow at school, at parties, pretty much everywhere. Then things take a turn for the truly weird when a terrible accident catapults the pair into a world totally unlike their own, in which the rules of a role-playing game hold sway.

Totally solid LitRPG. Negative reviews are overstated.

Narrator kills emphasis, author made childish characters
Revisado: 08-28-24
I couldn't make it past chapter 10, between Daniel and Orion constantly acting like 13 year olds or the narrator saying every word in the system for them , Daniel would say "I'm the" and instead of himself saying hero with a normal voice, the narrator would constantly say HERO in the system voice which completely takes you out. add that with every other system word and it's a joke, I don't understand why the author decided to go this route.

Historia
Reborn in a crypt, Nick was given an ancient heritage and an important task: to become king, and make the Archaens rise again. Nick was now the last one, and he would need to find allies by forming Soul Pacts with both followers and wives. With the power of the Soul Knight class, he would have to use both paladin and necromancer magics to conquer the tower and defeat his enemies. But not all was right, in or outside the tower. A bandit warlord had taken control of the city of Havendale, and a deathly Trial within the tower lurks, barring Nick from collecting his Heritage.

8 chapters in and the cringy romance is insane
Revisado: 08-14-24
I seriously don't understand why so many authors do this. It's not realistic nor authentic.
Talking about marrying a random little girl you barely know because she's cute is so weird to me.
This was summarized as a tower climber but I've gotten more awkward romance than monster fighting.
I'll update once I finish but wow, this is okay. I don't understand how people rate it 5 stars unless they've never listened to anything else.

Historia
Nathaniel's bus ride was supposed to be just another boring commute. Wrong. Now, he, 23 fellow passengers, and a corgi named Biscuit, are stuck in a "Hell Difficulty" Tutorial, battling monsters and leveling up to survive. Easy difficulty, anyone can handle. Normal difficulty, you've got to put up a fight to get by. Hard difficulty is where only the tough ones last. And Hell? That's where you have to be a bit out of your mind! With his terrifying talent for mana manipulation, Nathaniel decides to invest every stat point into mana.

Good narration can't save a bland story with a bland MC
Revisado: 06-18-24
26 chapters and it's just a slow burn still. Still in the forest, sitting in the bus, killing weak stuff, human conflict of course.
Gets extremely boring when you read the same stuff for 26 chapters.
I'm not a fan of MCs threatening to kill innocent kids, instead of the person messing with him.
I'm sure it gets better once they venture deeper into the forest when they're stronger, but I just can't make it past all of this slow dialogue and MC buffoonery.

Historia
Arthur lives with his father, a fallen but proud former noble, in Border Village #49, along with the other good folks condemned to toil in service to the Baron. But Arthur has an edge: a stolen heart card that secretly fell into his possession, thanks to a dragon. It’s a priceless source of power for the Baron and the tyrant will kill to get it back. Invaluable, too, to a young man of spellcasting ambitions.

12 year old MC crybaby, whiny, dumb. Ignore this
Revisado: 06-13-24
I tried to get into this since it was only $4.75 but damn, the MC cries over everything. I had no clue it would be a legit boy at 12, I thought maybe 16 for coming of age but that's on me. This MC is insufferable, idiotic and has no backbone. A legit kid MC so beware if you want anything serious. don't even get me started on these weak people hunting dragons
