Not worth 30 hours of your life

If you asked AI to write dialogue that you assumed a washed up millennial would say you’d probably get a pretty accurate understanding of the first half of this book. The second half saved it for me but that was 15 HOURS in. I live books and reading but this was tough to finish.

I don’t even really know how to describe my feelings for this book. It was…fine? Not horrible but not good or engaging.
Someone said there would be a big shocking twist and I literally have no idea what part of the book they would have been referring to.
Im also not convinced the main character liked women. Got a very “not like other girls” middle school vibe.
The author read the book very nicely though which I appreciated.
