Audio still needs a final edit
Revisado: 01-05-23
Overall a good audiobook to introduce the concepts of data analytics. Includes a PDF copy of the book for easy reference of visualizations and code samples. Audio still needs a final edit because there were many instances where the narrator had repeated takes with clearing his throat, closing of doors, and clapping of hands.

Historia
Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

Technical Parts of the Story Did Not Make Sense
Revisado: 12-06-21
Vera is clearly technically challenged - how did she build a custom questionnaire for her website with complex functionality to generate box suggestions? If she hired someone else to build it for her, why wouldn't she ask them to fix the issue?
The content management system is browser based, why would Vera's outdated operating system suddenly break the questionnaire?
If this story was not included for free, I would have returned it for a refund.
I also found it a bit odd that the author kept using the word "traitorous" to describe things throughout the story.

Historia
An inspiring memoir from the CEO of Dick’s Sporting Goods about building a multibillion-dollar business, coming to the defense of embattled youth sports programs, and taking a principled - and highly controversial - stand against the types of guns that are too often used in mass shootings and other tragedies.

Interesting Background Story, Cry Baby Ending
Revisado: 01-07-21
Overall, the story about the business and its growth through various challenges was very interesting. I enjoyed how Ed spoke candidly about his feelings and relationship with his father. I also appreciate him taking the time to narrate this story which shows his passion and gave it a personal touch.
However, the introduction and last few chapters were overly dramatic and made him sound like a big cry baby. While I respect his opinions about guns and politics, I really struggled to get through the ending. It was just a bunch of him whining about not getting the reactions he wanted and trying to justify his stance for stronger gun control.
