An Interesting & at times humorous continuation
Revisado: 09-05-23
Could not put it down. The two main characters banter was at times humorous to a fault. Can't wait for the next installment!!!

You Never Know?
Revisado: 08-11-23
How many secrets are not known. When you're walking on a crowed sidewalk do you wonder what does the person who just passed you do for a living? Have you ever reached for the phone subconsciously knowing it's going to ring. What are scientists doing behind those tall glass structures? Ever wonder what is fiction & what is not!

But the fearsome storm rages through the night. With daylight, more than 200 people are found to have perished in the icy winds and treacherous snowdrifts. Just plain crude & distasteful!
Revisado: 07-07-23
Right from the beginning the filthy language starts. I understand when it's an integral part of the story, you get angry and f*** you comes flying out. What sense is there when every sentence is strung together with a curse word. This book should be titled a dictionary on learning filthy language! There wasn't a plot just line after line of cursing. Wasted a credit on this filth. A real disappointment!!!! If I could give it 0 stars I would!!!

Historia
Archaeologist Verity Grey has been drawn to the dark legends of the Scottish Borderlands in search of the truth buried in a rocky field by the sea. Her eccentric boss has spent his whole life searching for the resting place of the lost Ninth Roman Legion and is convinced he's finally found it - not because of any scientific evidence, but because a local boy has "seen" a Roman soldier walking in the fields, a ghostly sentinel who guards the bodies of his long-dead comrades.

Couldn't Put it Down
Revisado: 06-17-23
Loved the characters. The author was very descriptive and you could feel the spray of the sea, feel the dirt under your nails. I wish I would have become an archeologist which was my first passion. I remember the day my father bought the set of Encyclopedias and how much I loved history and the hidden mysteries of things still to be discovered. This story gave me that thrill again.

Historia
Breed warrior Micah is one of the Order's best, his reputation for cold justice and lethal skill rivaled only by that of his formidable father, Tegan. So, when a mission Micah's leading in an off-limits area called the Deadlands goes terribly wrong, leaving him the sole survivor of an apparent Atlantean attack, he won't rest until he has answers...and vengeance for his fallen team. Phaedra thought it was only a dream, a hideous nightmare. Yet somehow, she had been transported from her life in Rome to a stretch of barren forest....

I know we are all anticipating!
Revisado: 08-11-21
I know we are all biting our nails in anticipation of the next release, but the books are getting shorter, a little skeletal and Micah's character lacks substance. This book does leave us with an interesting new story line we thought was at an end so of course searching for the next release. We don't have to wait long, but I'd rather wait a year for a 13 hour read of the first books in the series than a few months for a 7 or 8 hour book that lacks the emotion of previous books. Which were so good I have read them more than once waiting for the next book in the series. Lara Adrian is one of my favorite Authors and she usually doesn't disappoint. I want more of that hardy, sitting on the edge of my seat, depth and feeling that kept me not wanting to set the book down for a moment. Fall of Night I would still highly rate, but it doesn't have the substance of Lucan, Teagan, Chase aka Harvard, Rio or Dante's stories. I want that Lara Adrian back!
