Historia
The demon Lailoken, as old as time, is tricked by angelic powers, the Fire Lords, and trapped in a human body. He becomes Merlinus, a wandering wise man expert in magic, destined to work for good among humans, opposed by the Furor, Odin. An encounter with the unicorn - a spirit similarly earthbound - brings him to Ygrane, queen of the Celts, and she sets him a task to find her king, a man seen in vision and fated to be her love-match.

Poetic and Enthralling
Revisado: 11-05-24
The best telling of the Arthurian legend I have ever read. I love the inter-dimensional nature of the writing about all the worlds and how they relate. Great book!

Good! Short...!
Revisado: 06-18-23
I really like her therapeutic approach to creative mentoring, and clearly her counseling experience and training has been super pivotal and relevant to her work with artists. I am a professional painter, and I really enjoyed every chapter. I felt like it was a very fast read, and I would’ve enjoyed a little more in-depth journey into each subject, as there is a lot to unpack in each one! But that said, very well rounded, and I enjoyed listening to it while I painted today. 💜

Historia
The Poisonwood Bible is a story told by the wife and four daughters of Nathan Price, a fierce, evangelical Baptist who takes his family and mission to the Belgian Congo in 1959. They carry with them everything they believe they will need from home, but soon find that all of it - from garden seeds to Scripture - is calamitously transformed on African soil. What follows is a suspenseful epic of one family’s tragic undoing and remarkable reconstruction over the course of three decades in postcolonial Africa.

An Incredible Classic
Revisado: 06-15-23
I have known about this book, and have wanted to/been curious about reading it for years. I finally took the plunge here on Audible, while I have been painting a beautiful piece inspired by Oshun and Mama Africa.
I really didn’t know what to expect, but I was not disappointed one bit. This is a beautiful piece of writing. A beautiful story. Beautifully read. I highly recommend it!

Great Book, Bad Reader
Revisado: 10-16-22
This is an excellent book, filled with useful tips that encourage a good mindset and practices to keep in mind for the professional artist. It’s also chalk filled with great historical anecdotes. The hardest part was having to listen to the person reading it. Sounded like a computer reading. If you can get past the audio itself, the content is wonderful. If I had the time, I would have just ordered it to read it myself, but most of the time I am listening to books while I’m driving or painting, so I made do!

Every time I got to listen to this audiobook throughout my days, I felt a million times better about where I’m at, where I’m going with my business and my life, and most of all my wealth.
Jen has a very straightforward no bullshit approach to her coaching throughout this book, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I also laughed out loud several times during each chapter because of her hilarious anecdotes.
I feel like I could listen to this book a couple times a year, to add a little boost of confidence to my inner steps.
A healthy mindset is not a destination, it’s a way of life. We all need those Jen Sinceros yakking sweet nothings about our greatness into our ears every damn day!
Thanks Jen!

Enlightening and Empowering
Revisado: 10-23-21
I really enjoyed this book. I’ve been listening to lots of books about money, hoping to improve upon my own prosperity mindset, and I really appreciated listening to Lynn’s perspective (on money, poverty, wealth, prosperity, and scarcity, all these things that we humans are so enmeshed in). Because of her amazing work in the world, she has a very comprehensive perspective, and it has helped me to appreciate what I have, and how rich I am spiritually, in my work in the world, and in my relationships. I love her message about letting go of trying to get more of what we don’t really need- how this frees up oceans of energy to make a difference with what we already have. When we make a difference with what we have, it expands. What we appreciate appreciates. We can’t get to prosperity through the portal of more… Only enough.
