Historia
In the summer of 1862, a group of young artists led by the passionate and talented Edward Radcliffe descends upon Birchwood Manor in rural Oxfordshire. Their plan: to spend a secluded summer month in a haze of inspiration and creativity. But by the time their stay is over, one woman has been shot dead while another has disappeared; a priceless heirloom is missing; and Edward Radcliffe’s life is in ruins. Over 150 years later, Elodie Winslow, a young archivist in London, uncovers a leather satchel containing two seemingly unrelated items.

VERY difficult to follow!
Revisado: 07-26-23
I have read reviews that say you should read the Kindle version. Unfortunately, I did not. This book was SO hard to follow. The characters are very interesting if you can figure out which character you are currently listening to. I didn't like the ending. It gave some detail as to happenings but so many of the characters were left hanging. I would love to see many of the loose ends tied up.

Good story. Didn't care for the narrator screaming in the fast paced parts. Too Loud

Historia
From the Badlands to the Bluegrass, this perilous, potentially deadly adventure changes the lives of everyone involved and puts at risk the survival of the Clan and all the Celtic brooches. While dressing for a dinner date with her cousin George Williams and James Cullen Fraser, Ensley Williams picks through her jewelry box for some bling to add to her outfit and chooses her late mother’s sunstone brooch. Engraved on the inside of the stone is an inscription. When she recites the Celtic words, she’s engulfed in a peat-scented fog and transported back to the Dakota Badlands in 1885.

Quick Listen
Revisado: 10-18-19
This series was a good story line. I have read many of the time travel books and have determined that the narrator(s) are what really make the book. The must be able to imitate the dialect. This series was lacking in that department.

Story is Great but a Bit Disappointed
Revisado: 09-25-19
While I understand that this book required the narrator to be able to speak French, I was disappointed. I have listened to every book in the series prior to this and I became bonded with the characters as
Teri Schnaubelt brought them to life. Unfortunately, I did not feel that with this book. As always, the story is great and kept you listening as in all of her books. I was just disappointed with the narration.
