I'm a mother of four children, the oldest is 6. Before I was a SAHM I worked as an engineer, at big companies like SpaceX and nuclear power plants. being home with 4 tiny people is the hardest and most exhausting job I've ever had.

For years I've felt like I'm never going to be good enough, I'm too tired, I'm too busy, I'm too pregnant, I'm still breastfeeding, I don't know who I am anymore.

I don't know what made me click on the audible version of Jen's other book, One Beautiful Dream. That book made me feel so heard. I cried big ugly tears in the car on the way to the weekly raw milk pickup when she talked about connecting with her friend Haley. Pick it up if you haven't already.

That book led me to this one.

The idea that you are not being self indulgent by following your passion (blue flame) is life changing.

In one week it completely changed how I look at the business I've been half-heartedly "working" on for almost five years.

I'm not being selfish by working on my business and hiring a sitter for my kids.

I'm being selfish by not doing that work, that I know can touch so many other people.

I've been writing about parenting and teaching classes regularly for a month, which has always been my passion. Everything Jen says about touching other people is completely true. I cannot believe it took me so long to Just Do It. The responses I get from other parents makes me feel so happy to help others thrive. it's indescribable.

Thank you, Jen. You are truly doing God's work here and helping others to step into their own.

This was the first book to make me cry in a very long time. As a mom of four kids, the oldest having just turned six, I deeply related to many of the stories and changes Jenny faced in this book.

I have a copy of this on Kindle - and I was so glad it came out on audible. I found this book super helpful to give me structure when writing sales pages. The author goes into a great deal of detail, and it always takes a couple reads to really pick up on all the nuances with a book like this - which makes an audio version I can listen to in the car a total win.

I have used this method with some of my own sales pages and those for clients in the past six months. When I feel stuck or overwhelmed, I will often go back to the book and remind myself of the purpose that I'm trying to achieve.

The author also has a background in podcasting - and you can tell when you listen to this book. His voice is excellent and I found listening to him discuss his craft to be enjoyable.
