Historia
When Natalie Merin's grandmother dies, she discovers that her birth mother, Colleen Winters, disappeared from the small town of Cascade Locks, Oregon twenty years earlier. Natalie travels to Oregon hoping to find out what happened to her mother. Instead, she finds people who won't talk about Colleen, who act like she never existed, or if she did, their life was better without her. She learns that several prominent people in town will do anything to protect what they feel is important to keep hidden.

Great story, with excellent details. Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Lots of twists and turns. Not a predictable story line. Loved it!!!

What’s Your “And”? is a compelling wake-up call that rejects the conventional wisdom that professionals have to conform to a specific stereotype to be successful at work. In fact, defying the norm by sharing your outside-of-work passions makes you a better professional while also making your organization more equipped to attract and retain talent and clients.

Historia
While endings are a natural part of business and life, we often experience them with a sense of hesitation, sadness, resignation, or regret. But consultant, psychologist, and bestselling author Dr. Henry Cloud sees endings differently. He argues that our personal and professional lives can only improve to the degree that we can see endings as a necessary and strategic step to something better.

Great Book for Leaders, Employees and Individuals
Revisado: 09-02-17
Dr. Henry Cloud was very insightful about how to end various relationships whether it is as a business owner, employee, or individual. We all have times in our lives where we need to have necessary endings firing an employee, quitting your job, breaking up with your significant other, or leaving a relationship that is toxic. Dr. Cloud gives great examples of how to make theses endings successful. Some relationships might need to involve others to help with the ending, for example, police if there is an abusive or threat to the individual. I highly recommend this Audiable book.
