If you Love Pema Chodron
Revisado: 11-26-17
I have all the Pema Chodron books and audible books. I found this Gem from the recommendation list. I was mesmerized at this women's devotion and tenacity. Her Journey is incredible. She truly reflects one on the Buddhist path. I was saddened when the book finished.

A great read from the wandering Hippie
Revisado: 11-27-16
What did you love best about Faithfully Religionless?
His honesty. His Stories.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Faithfully Religionless?
The story of him almost dying surfing and him just noticing what was happening and not identifying with it.
What does Timber Hawkeye bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Him narrating the book. His voice afflictions telling the stories. It feels as if your there with him .
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
Life is short and death is certain. Time and place however are uncertain. We need to remember not to follow other peoples stories or the Cult-ure story. Through meditation we can cultivate awareness and make our own decisions and we can be OK with them.
Any additional comments?
After reading both books I've noticed a couple of things. He still has some unaddressed issues with his mom. He tends to burn through relationships like I go through running shoes(The mom issue?) BTW, Relationships are where real growth can occur. But he also mentioned something I strongly disagree with. When someone says only part of them wants to do something he mentions it should be all in or nothing. I think back at my own life( I'm 51)Part of me wanted to move out at 17 and part of me wanted to live with my parents. Part of me wanted to get married and part of me wanted to stay single. Part of me wanted to move to California but part of me wanted to stay in Jersey etc. Should I just have waited until all of me felt OK with each decision? There will always be doubt, Fear etc the difference is to not act on it just notice it for what it is, Fear Doubt etc.

Good information but...
Revisado: 09-29-15
The women who was reading the book sounded like a Russian KGB agent.
I've would have like a softer voice.
The information was there.
