Good story, poor performance

The performer for the first book in this series was outstanding. The performer for this book, Murder in a Teacup, really missed the mark. Rose, the English grandmother, sounds constipated! Her British accent is way off, and the pronunciation of many words makes her sound like she's from the South (U.S.). The gardener also sounds....stifled? Very inauthentic. Not sure I'll finish listening to this book.

Excellent narrator! Terrific, light-hearted mystery typical of the other "Cat Who..." books. I thoroughly enjoyed it! A great choice for a family traveling with kids, too...middle to upper elementary. No sex or violence. :-D
