Historia
In The Black Swan Taleb outlined a problem, and in Antifragile he offers a definitive solution: how to gain from disorder and chaos while being protected from fragilities and adverse events. For what Taleb calls the "antifragile" is actually beyond the robust, because it benefits from shocks, uncertainty, and stressors, just as human bones get stronger when subjected to stress and tension. The antifragile needs disorder in order to survive and flourish. Taleb stands uncertainty on its head, making it desirable, even necessary, and proposes that things be built in an antifragile manner.

A great concept. the last 90% is whinny rhetoric<br />

a great concept but the book is far too long, complete with a lot of nonsense examples and questionable conclusions. Nevertheless antifragile is a great concept.

More meandering rhetoric from the author.

Would you try another book from Dr. Jill Ammon-Wexler and/or Arika Escalona Rapson?
Nothing really wrong with the content but it's just another one of the authors introductions to the subject with a teaser to read more and little useful 'how to'. All talk and no trousers.

Historia
Many call out-of-body (OBE) experiences "astral projections" because of the unusual perceptive nature of these experiences. But there's more than metaphysics involved in OBE. Serious scientists are interested in this phenomena, and it has been studied by both the USA and Russia. The book provides proven step-by-step methods to help you safely expand your conscious awareness beyond the limits of your physical self.

Background only, not 'how to'
Revisado: 09-04-14
What would have made A Beginner's Guide to Out-of-Body Experiences better?
The title is somewhat misleading - This is not a 'how to' book but more of a 5 step guide to further reading material you can buy from the author 'for personal transformation'.
