We all have heard of the phrase "money can't buy happiness", but what we don't realize is a lot of us are under the control of the media and advertising industry, and have been fed the idea that having more materialistic possessions can help you experience a much happier and more fulfilling life. This obsession with having fancy clothes, nice cars, or bigger houses has distracted many people from being kind, friendly, and respectful to each other. The materialistic mindset has also caused a large number of people to get into serious debt.

Very Helpful and Intriguing!

I am very happy this book caught my attention because it was definitely worth the listen! The concept of materialism and how to overcome it is a major situation in our society and this book helps in solving that issue. I'm used to being so focused on material things so it was kind of unusual to listen to the author's perspective, but I'm happy I went through with it. I feel much more relaxed and at ease now as well!
