Half Fox & O'Hare, Half Malibu Burning...

Half Fox & O'Hare, Half Movieland, only half the charm of either series/story. The narrator has a narrow range of styles for characters and so they all sound like either a young man or Grandma as an 80yr old chronic smoker. Might have enjoyed it more with a different narrator who could give characters more life. Unlike the Ian Ludlow & Margo French, Fox & O'Hare, or Eve of Lost Hills stories, I will not be impatiently waiting for the sequel.

If you love the Fox & O'Hare series, DON'T read this book!! It will ruin it for you. Total lack of continuity in the characters, in the sub-plots. Someone should have fact checked the details against previous books. Total loss of emotion and connection between main characters without any reason. I couldn't even finish the book, it sucks sooo bad.

They're quick to take the case, even if it has already sort of (definitely) been given to Leo Dark, Melody's rakish, despicable ex.
