Historia
Mike Rinder’s parents began taking him to their local Scientology center when he was five years old. After high school, he signed a billion-year contract and was admitted into Scientology’s elite inner circle, the Sea Organization. Brought to founder L. Ron Hubbard’s yacht and promised training in Hubbard’s most advanced techniques, Rinder was instead put to work swabbing the decks. Still, Rinder bought into the doctrine that his personal comfort was secondary to the higher purpose of Hubbard’s world-saving mission.

Liked that Rinder has stepped up to the plate and acknowledged his role in the craziness in Scientology

Historia
Now reduced to a schoolyard chant, the Hope family murders shocked the Maine coast one bloody night in 1929. While most people assume seventeen-year-old Lenora was responsible, the police were never able to prove it. Other than her denial after the killings, she has never spoken publicly about that night, nor has she set foot outside Hope’s End, the cliffside mansion where the massacre occurred.

I don't understand all of these negative reviews. This is a GREAT BOOK. The story is interesting. Lots of twists and turns. It is a long book, but well worth it. Wonder which Riley Sager book I will listen to next,,,,

Love her
Revisado: 04-23-15
Wow...loved this book. I love Amy. My favorite chapter was the one where she talked about her boys. Those boys are lucky to have one great momma. She is loving, smart, extremely funny and admits that sometimes she is the polar opposite of those characteristics (no pun intended). I think I could hang with her.
Amy, thank you for this book.
