Interesting facts, presentation too boring to keep my attention.

Most books take hours too read. If it is too boring to keep my attention after a few tries, at different speeds, I need to move on to the next book. May be useful for others o read, just not to me.

AUTHOR is UNINFORMED about the emotion of ANGER

What disappointed you about Anger Control?

This author treats anger as always destructive, and an emotion to learn to aviod. His simplistic approach is not compatible with most mainstream schools of thought. This audio book will likely cause more damage to an already confused sufferer of inappropriate expressions of anger. Anger is just an emotion. How we choose to use anger determines the goodness or badness of it. This fact is ignored this author. Larry, LPC-S

Daily devotional, not a Message Version Bible

What disappointed you about The Daily Message?

I was expecting a Message version of the whole bible, to listen to from Genesis to Revelation. turned out to be a daily devotional bible, skipping from the old testament to the new testament back and forth.. Tried to use it but just not usable for the my purpose. It would be excellent as a daily devotional, just not what I was looking for.

Yes, already have read it more than once. Good enough to review often.

What did you like best about this story?

Deals with reality as it is, not myths as you think they should be.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me hopeful that marriage can actually be consistently enjoyable, if both parties use this information intentionally.

I enjoy the audible bible, but it is frustrating that I have to guess which of the 14 Parts contains the book, chapter or verse I may want to listen to. An important upgrade of this audible would be to add the ability to go directly to book, chapter and verse. The bible is not a book that is read as a novel, from beginning to end, by almost anybody. It is a book that is studied by sections or individual books, by chapter and/or verse. That is really what I was looking for when I bought it. I enjoy listening, the reading is done well, but this lack of ability to navigate the bible would have me returning it for a refund if that were possible, and trying another approach.
