Historia
Are you looking for a complete guide on pandemic? Why was the Spanish Flu known as the Spanish Flu? What caused the Spanish Flu? Where did the Spanish Flu come from? The Spanish Flu did not originate in Spain, although news of it did. Scientists up to this day do not understand in which country did the Spanish Flu really originated, though theories factor to France, China, Britain, or the USA, where the first acknowledged case was found at Camp Funston in Riley, Kansas, on March 11, 1918.

Poorly Written and Redundant
Revisado: 07-01-23
This book is awful! The author clearly engaged in minimal research and had almost nothing to say about the Spanish Flu. He kept repeating himself in order to drag the book out. The content was better suited to a short magazine article than a book. The writing style was amateurish and ineffective. His conclusions were weak and often contradictory. Don't waste your time and money!

The story of Islam is one we urgently need to hear. Now Huston Smith, the legendary authority on comparative religions, summons a lifetime of scholarship and insight to offer this welcome listener's guide to the most persistently misunderstood religion in the world. Smith takes us back to Islam's founding lineage, revealing its inspiration in Greek philosophy and its common roots with both Judaism and Christianity.

Terrible Narrator & Little Information of Value
Revisado: 12-08-20
This is one of the worst narrators I've ever heard. He has an uncomfortably slow pace with awkward pauses and strange pronunciation for some words. More importantly, he's nothing more than a cheerleader for Islam. He offers little in the way of valuable historical information and no critical analysis or insight whatsoever. Instead, he focuses on justifying and elevating Mohammed and the religion of Islam. This was a waste of my time and money.

Plodding and Slow-Paced
Revisado: 08-28-18
Half way decent plot but poor execution. Story dragged on way too long with numerous irrelevant plot twists and unnecessary details. Narrator was difficult to listen to for more than a short stretch. I can't believe I actually finished it.
