The movie...
Revisado: 11-06-16
This redeemed my thoughts of how the movie really lacked in story... I hate to admit that the movie, while I enjoy the characters and appreciate the bridge into the progressive future generations of Star Wars, the movie failed (in my opinion). This book though, is absolutely what I needed. Filled in a lot of holes. Enjoy the book.

Millions of people visit xkcd.com each week to read Randall Munroe's iconic webcomic. His stick-figure drawings about science, technology, language, and love have a large and passionate following. Fans of xkcd ask Munroe a lot of strange questions. What if you tried to hit a baseball pitched at 90 percent of the speed of light? How fast can you hit a speed bump while driving and live? If there were a robot apocalypse, how long would humanity last?

Light and entertaining, scientifically speaking.
Revisado: 05-23-16
This is definitely for entertainment purposes and shouldn't be taken seriously. This is what makes this book great because Mr. Randall Munroe gives the best possible answer to some of life's "out there" questions, in a entertainingly funny way. This was a great relaxer book to anything that may be highly technical in that there is nothing to really focus on. Just sit back, relax and enjoy some scientifically, often enough absurd, explained answers to some of life's absurd questions.

One hundred years ago, scientists would have said that lasers, televisions, and the atomic bomb were beyond the realm of physical possibility. In Physics of the Impossible, the renowned physicist Michio Kaku explores to what extent the technologies and devices of science fiction that are deemed equally impossible today might well become commonplace in the future.

Mind-bending and Thought Provoking
Revisado: 05-21-16
This is a great book that delves deep in to the middle of physics and leaves you feeling as if you can change the world with your new found knowledge! Michio breaks down every possibility of future technologies, or capabilities, to a fundamental level with just the right amount of science and philosophy well blended.
My only gripe is of the narrator. Most definitely a bland description to everything. It's not bad at first, his voice, but then it just slips in to really boring, consistently flat, tones of expression. Not mono tone, but more like mono expression!

Historia
During his lifetime, legendary martial artist Bruce Lee formulated a complex personal philosophy - a synthesis of Eastern and Western ideals - that extolled the virtues of knowledge and total mastery of one's self. Most of his philosophical writings could be found only within the personal library of the Bruce Lee estate - until John Little was given permission to publish them for the wider world.

Narrator Blows the Entire Book (honest opinion)
Revisado: 10-23-15
The teachings and philosophies of this legendary man, Bruce Lee, are intrinsically down to earth! One of my few heroes for sure.
I simply can not give this book 5 stars, or even 4 stars, in fact the only reason why I gave it 3 is because I know the material is good.
But, I just can't get over the way the narrator narrates the book! It's as if he speaks in a way that completely makes you day dream, and you have to constantly fight for your attention of the book (maybe in some weird way that's what they wanted?). It is just so un-engaging that it bothers me such a great man's philosophies was read by this guy. The only part I enjoyed is he changes his voice to "sound" like Bruce Lee. Other than that, different narrator and it'd be a 5 star.

Engaging entertainment
Revisado: 10-22-15
By no means a masterpiece, it is however an engaging story that keeps you wanting more! Spooky twists make this perfect for a Halloween time book/play. I would definitely recommend listening to it.
Oh and I also like how it brought light on some touchy subjects such as racism, homosexuality, life after death, and the sorts. This added to the whole ambiance of the book and really struck some chords in me; which in turn, engaged me even more with the book.
The only thing that I would say is annoying is the kid Bodi, or Brodi. Could not stand the kid's voice!

Short and to the Point!
Revisado: 09-23-15
This book had a light prose with hard-knock style lessons. It allowed me to view life, as it is, furthermore what it does, intrinsically normal as equal and opposite forces. Resistance is what our ego is. Who we are is a deeper self connected to a greater being.
If you need a good swift kick in the butt to go out in to life and territorially achieve a goal, this book is most certainly for you!!!!! Read it!! Or listen to it!!!

Present moment awareness is an essential ingredient in life if one expects to experience any degree of authentic peace and contentment. It has been acknowledged for centuries as the cornerstone of spiritual awakening in all traditions of Eastern thought. In the West, however, it is still a relatively unrecognized concept for living. The Western mind is always restless, never content with the moment.

Slow and steady.
Revisado: 09-17-15
This book is a relaxing look on how to overcome some difficult traits, tasks, people, habits, and basically every part of your life through practice. The narrator is slow and deliberate when he speaks but if you really immerse yourself in to what he is saying, it is clear why. Highly recommend this book to anyone! If you struggle with patience, and giving up on things after just beginning them, THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU!!!
