My grandfather was the last person in the world I would have ever expected to hear a story about a personal encounter with Bigfoot. He was a serious man and for him to discuss this ancient & controversial knowledge so openly was astounding. He wasn't mean or abusive, but he had no time for silliness. He never wasted time on unexplained mysteries or folklore. He grew up in an era and in circumstances where silliness was "for women, children, and the mentally insufficient".

A captivating short story

This was such a fun listen. I loved the rural "voice" of the characters in the story, and I never thought a tale about Bigfoot could feel so...real. The narrator also had a lovely, soothing voice that kept me hooked.
