This book does a nice job of making meditation both understandable and accessible to the mainstream. I read this book each day and tried everything one step at a time and sometimes took longer with certain lessons. I found I could heal my pain through meditation very easily. It turns out my mind is very good at healing, who knew. This book has not only put me on a path to mindfulness which I had no knowledge of I can also cure myself. Vern is easy going and gets to point and that really works for me. I have referred this book to many people already and will continue to share meditation and mindfulness with the world.
