Shaky listen, but GOLD!

Terrific book, and a must read!

Found it a little distracting how the narrator's reading had various unnatural pauses from him reading from the script and figuring out the sentence structure as he read it. But other than that, it was definitely eye opening!

I'm glad I stuck with it because there was a wealth of information in this book! It's essentially a master class on pitching, and psychology of how people perceive different types of pitches. Though geared toward in-person, you can still use many of these techniques for online/video pitches.

The book begins with interesting terms & concepts, then explains them in the middle, and drives everything home with a perfect story at the end.

Honest, helpful, & encouraging

Great book to help me get started validating my idea, as well as providing the strategies to use in the beginning stages of creating a product. Really liked how Pat lays down the foundational ideas, and follows it up with case studies at the end.

I've been waiting to hear a book this honest about ego for a long time. Ryan Holiday touches the ugly truth of ego not talked about much. Loved the writing style, organization, research, narration, audio quality. My favorite book this year.

My Favorite Audiobook of All Time

The most entertaining audiobook I've ever listened! Gary shares the holistic view on business in both practical and philosophical advice. This book truly is a college course worth of material. This is an audiobook you'll constantly want to go back to and revisit.

This is a must read for anyone wanting financial freedom and looking to have a better understanding on the different mindsets of each class of people and how it eventually dictates their financial success. Great performance of the reading as well.

Content is good, performance is okay, but production is cringe-worthy for an audiophile.

The narrator does okay, and the audio quality from the microphone seems very basic for an audio book.

However, the bad part is the post production edits to the audio, with very noticeable breaks in continuity. If you're keen to that sort of thing, they will define through you off.

For example, the narrator will often read a certain word or phrase in a different tone, pitch and speed that obviously indicates that it has been recorded after the fact, instead of reading the full paragraph over again.

Definitely has the aesthetic of a 2nd grade Hodge Podge collage art project.

Amazingly honest

I loved this book for it's honest portrayal for an actually soldier's account of war in a world where we can only get these stories from biases accounts in media. Really opened my eyes to what war is really about, and helped me gained respect for the people who put there lives on the line for their countries.
