I loved this story. I love Eleanor. I love that it is so pleasant and she is so likable and relatable while being totally complex and unique.
It starts at the right time. It ends at the right time. The character development and growth is astounding.
I’ve listened to 100s of audible books and this was the best.

This book was educational, thought provoking, and a gripping love story all in one. I would have read it for its comments on race or comments on culture and immigration alone. I also would have just read it for the story. somehow the two flowed seamlessly. it is a unique and truly wonderful book. I don't share the morals, values or opinions of the characters or writer, but somehow that did not matter at all.

I often buy "smart" books and get halfway through them, and then buy chiclit and love it. But this book had me captivated from the first minute and even more amazingly, kept my attention until the last minute. I just want to go back and listen to it again. I didn't want it to end. It is well worth the two credits.
