Fun Tactic Story! Action packed realistic plot

I actually have policewoman, scuba diver and fossil hunting background. Many books like this drive me nuts with their inconsistencies. Other then the abnormal fast pace and much more that normal personal direct involvement, I didn't find any inconsistencies.
I am very impressed that either this author has some great fact checkers, or has other personal knowledge of the police, diving and fossil collection he writes about. I will note that the interagency stupidity in the book was extreme. BUT not beyond the realms of stupidity I could imagine actually occurring! Though I must pray it never does.

Fun-tastic story with a correct factual background

I'm a diver and retired after almost 27 years as a female police officer. This was a fun-tastic, enjoyable Audible book. I noticed no incorrect or unrealistic practices, procedures, or
attitudes, either from a police of diver standpoint. It does a great job of capturing the irreverent, stress filled comments and actions that do or could actually occur in a profession or action filled situations like this. I highly recommend reading! I've also started into the 2nd book in this series and as a fossil hound who has frequently been in Florida waters searching for fossils, I must say that the author should again be commended for realistic backgrounds and attitudes!
