Another great addition to the cultivation genre

I really enjoyed this installment of unintended cultivator: although it is a little bloodthirsty at times—MC racks up quite the body count, which at times feels a little bit counter to his path. I wish there was a little more world building around other cultivators preforming even more despicable acts, aside from just stories. It sometimes feels like his responses are a bit nuclear given his personal experiences—without him having truly explored more diplomatic responses and failing, it makes him seem a little bit brutal at points. That being said, it works overall. Cultivation stories just be that way. Another great installment—I eagerly await the next. Narration is just as great as the first one.

Better than you’d think based on reviews.

I got this title during a 2 for 1 special—I tend not to buy books that have too low of a review. After listening, I think a rating of 4.1 is excessively harsh. I would give it more of a 4.5 or 4.6. It’s very light hearted and has a similar vibe to anime and other light novels. My only complaint is I found the main characters boon companion to have an annoying voice—not in love with the narrators choice there—it’s super high pitched and kinda harsh on the ears, but it wasn’t a deal breaker.

More good times with our favorite vacuum

The second installment seems much more meandering and slower paced. It has a more slice of life feeling than the previous one. That being said it was still quite enjoyable, and had a few good laughs in there.
Another reviewer said they were really frustrated by the constant miscommunications again—but I found it just as pleasing as last time, and totally believable as long as you’re will to suspend disbelief. It makes sense to me that a vacuum would have different sensibilities than a human, and take some of these ridiculous situations in stride.

Get it, you won’t regret it at all. I didn’t buy it for a while cause I wasn’t captured by the synopsis—but boy was I wrong. I found myself consistently looking at the hours left on this audiobook, hoping the time would go more slowly.
