much of the book talked why one shoukd meditate, not how. The "how" part was just generalizations, e.g., find a quiet place.

how proud he is of his own humility throughout...if his sense of the spirituality of his readers is on target he will be quite lonely in heaven...are all churches as disconnected from God as he claims?
