Enchanting for outdoor lovers and non-lovers

When this book first came recommended to me, I didn't think it was for me because I consider myself "indoorsy" and don't have a yearning for the wild like some of the characters in the book. But that's what made this book all the more perfect - Hannah and Whelan gave me an appreciation for the Alaskan scenery and way of life that I never would have expected. And Hannah's heartfelt way of exposing the challenges, the emotions, and the ties to each other in the characters is true artistry.

Danni Starr is so relatable and easy to root for, and her collection of essays made me fall even more on love with her! As a longtime fan, I appreciated getting to know the different facets of her life that she focused on in each individual essay, but I think even those that are new to her will get a lot out of them.
