Historia
There’s a story about Rich Paul that everyone knows: A twenty-one-year-old kid from Cleveland who sells sports jerseys out of his car meets a high school basketball phenom named LeBron James at an airport—the two become friends and forge a decades-long partnership that reinvents the business of sports. That random meeting might seem like the lucky break that changed Paul’s life. But a moment of good fortune means nothing without the struggle that gets you there. And the truth is, Paul had always been lucky.

Self-made billionaire Sam Zell consistently sees what others don't. Historia
For 13 violent months in the 1930s, John Dillinger and his gang swept through the Midwest. The criminals of the Depression robbed almost at will, as the Indiana State Police had only 41 members, including clerks and typists. Dillinger's daring escapes at Crown Point jail or through the withering machine gun fire of FBI agents at Little Bohemia Lodge, along with his countless bank robberies, excited the imagination of a despondent country.

Mike really did an awesome job at writing this book. There are a bunch of great ways to better a business in any field. He shares stories about people that I’m sure many can relate to and implement in their own businesses. This is the second time that I’ve listened to it, and I got even more out of it than the first time.

Historia
Aristotle Onassis was a born orator, and Jackie Kennedy would sit and listen to him spin off tales and stories - often racy - by the hour. A speaker of seven languages, he could keep a dinner party of some of the world's most sophisticated conversationalists spellbound. Even Jackie couldn't help but drop her reserve and laugh with him. America's First Lady simply never knew anyone quite as free or exotic as Aristotle Onassis, a paradoxical blend of raconteur and ruffian.

Love this podcast!!!
Revisado: 01-07-22
I was trying to write a review for the entire podcast, not just this episode.
A few days ago, I came across this podcast and it looked intriguing, from the picture as well as the description. I listened to an episode and felt like I knew the host’s voice. At the end, when he said it was Steve Sims, I automatically knew and recalled that this was the author of Bluefishing, which I have listened to two times thus far.
Steve is a really cool guy that has some great conversations in his podcast, and I look forward to having heard all of the episodes in a few weeks time.
Thanks to Steve and all of his great guests!!!

Historia
If any artist could brag about his contribution to the pop culture canon, it’s Smokey Robinson. His career is filled with so many “he was there” moments it’s a wonder he doesn’t recall them with the swagger of a conquering hero: songwriting and singing as a teenager in Detroit; co-founding Motown Records with Berry Gordy; creating 26 Top 40 hits with his group The Miracles; helping to spark racial integration of popular music in the 1960s; discovering hitmakers like Diana Ross and the Supremes; penning tunes for a jaw-droppingly diverse group of artists.
