A timeless guide to real leadership
Revisado: 04-03-25
Getting It Done is one of the most quietly powerful leadership books I’ve ever read. Roger Fisher offers practical, human-centered wisdom for leading through influence—not authority. As an architect responsible for delivery, client success, and team alignment—often without direct control—this book felt like it was written for me. Clear, insightful, and decades ahead of Agile, it’s a must-read for anyone navigating complex, collaborative work.

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

It Reminds me of the Confessions of St. Augustine
Revisado: 05-09-22
The author and I can't be more different. I bought the book to get a good laugh and pick up a famous comedian's sense of humor. The book is open, honest, and irreverent, but how it makes me smile, makes me laugh, makes me think, makes me shed tears with Trevor toward the end.
Why does it remind me of the Confessions of St. Augustine? It's Trevor's mom, who leaps out of the pages, a shining and real saint. It's also Trevor, who does not grow bitter but stays full of life, funny, and penetratingly insightful.

It's the CEV Bible -- Contemporary English Version
Revisado: 12-09-16
Would you listen to The Holy Bible again? Why?
Sure
Who was your favorite character and why?
Jesus
Any additional comments?
This is NOT the King James Version of the Holy Bible. It's actually the Contemporary English Version. The deuterocanonical books are included. It's a pleasant surprise to find that the Book of Sirach is read by Nelson Runger.
